Disney and Pixar have released another clip from their upcoming sequel “Inside Out 2,” which will be released on June 14, 2024, and this is the first look at teenage Riley.
The Details
In this second clip from the movie, we get our first glimpse at at a newly-minted teenage Riley, still enjoying playing hockey.
But along with becoming a teenager are a new range of emotions, led by orange Anxiety. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up with the other emotions in tow.
We briefly met the new character in the first teaser trailer last November.
Maya Hawke lends her voice to Anxiety, alongside Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, and new voices Tony Hale as Fear, and Liza Lapira as Disgust.
“Inside Out 2” is directed by animation filmmaker Kelsey Mann, a storyboard artist making her feature directorial debut after working on Pixar’s “Monsters at Work” Disney+ series.
