As part of the current transformation of the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort, it has been announced that Tortilla Jo’s restaurant will be closing after 20 years of service.
The Details
Tortilla Jo’s itself will close on March 31st, while the restaurant’s grab-and-go Taqueria will remain open until April 13th.
The Patina Restaurant Group’s Mexican-style cantina is closing to make way for a trio of new restaurant concepts featuring Mexican cuisine by Michelin-starred chef Carlos Gaytán: Paseo, Céntrico and the recently announced Tiendita.
Last Meals
As a celebration of their vicennial residency, the restaurant will offer promotions on guest favorites and specials for Lunar New Year to commemorate the magical memories shared since 2004 and offer fans a celebratory final experience.
There will also be special Valentine’s dishes that guests can enjoy now until February 29th:
- Tacos Enamorados: three tacos filled with New York steak, white Mexican shrimp, queso chihuahua, avocado, pico de gallo, salsa enamoradita
- Cupid’s Corazon for Two: AsomBroso La Rosa tequila, pomegranate liqueur, organic margarita mix, cranberry juice garnished with sugar rim, marshmallows, candy hearts
As well as a 3-course Valentine’s Day dinner, available February 9-14:
STARTER (choice of)
- Deconstructed Mexican Street Corn – grilled corn, salsa matcha, cilantro lime aioli, cotija cheese
- Taquitos de Papas – potato tacos, cabbage slaw, Mexican crema, queso fresco
ENTRÉE
- 3 Tacos Enamorados
DESSERT (choice of)
- Oreo Cookie Cheesecake – Oreo-crusted cheesecake drizzled with chocolate sauce
- New York Cheesecake – graham cracker crusted cheesecake served with berry coulis
Reservations through March 25 can be booked on the Disneyland app, and online at the restaurant’s website, subject to availability, followed by walk-in availability ahead of the restaurant’s final day of service on March 31, 2024.
