It’s official. The “Country Bear Jamboree” at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom has closed its doors to start its transformation. But thankfully, some fans were on hand during the closing days to preserve the show on digital.
The Details
The “Country Bear Jamboree” closed because Disney is transforming the show into the “Country Bear Musical Jamboree,” featuring the bears performing country renditions of classic Disney songs.
According to Disney, this new show is one that “pays homage to the Opry-style shows of Nashville.”
The new show will reportedly debut sometime this summer, and when we hear of a date, we’ll let you know.
The Videos
Thousands of fans showed up to catch the final shows of the “Country Bear Jamboree” – so much so there were at times a 60 minute or more wait.
If you weren’t one of those who caught the show before it gets revamped, or you just want to relive the experience, here are two videos that captured the Bears in the last performances at Grizzly Hall.
Enjoy!
