Last May, Walt Disney World announced changes to the theme park reservation system called “Good-To-Go Days” would occur for annual passholders, and this week, it was revealed that the first of those days would be announced on January 11, 2024.
The Details
“Good-To-Go Days” are days that passholders will need no reservations for Disney World parks.
On “Good-to-Go Days,” all four WDW theme parks will be available, but passholders’ block-out dates will continue to apply.
After the initial batch of days is revealed on January 11, more dates will be added periodically to the “Good-to-Go” calendar, and there may even be days or weeks of advance notice of those additions.
Annual passholders will still need to make reservations for other dates for now. We’ll let you know if this changes.
Other Changes
This first announcement of dates will come two days after Walt Disney World theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets.
Starting with park visits on Jan. 9, 2024, guests with date-based 1-day tickets, date-based multi-day tickets, and vacation packages with date-based tickets do not need to have reservations for those types of admission.
Plus, starting Jan. 9, guests with those date-based tickets that don’t need a park reservation will be able to join a virtual queue at any theme park. You won’t need to be in the park at 7am, but you will need to be in the park to join at 1pm.
Walt Disney World has also announced that all-day park hopper access will be returning for guests visiting any of its parks using a ticket with Park Hopper benefits or an Annual Pass starting January 9, 2024.
