Last night, as part of the Disney100 edition of ABC’s “The Wonderful World of Disney” this past weekend, fans got to view Disney Animation’s “Once Upon A Studio,” and now it’s available to stream.
The Details
Disney fans are waking up this morning to find out “Once Upon A Studio,” a short love letter to Disney Animation, is now available to stream on Disney+.
I don’t have access to Disney+ outside the U.S., but I have confirmed it’s available as of today in the U.S., UK, Canada, and Singapore. So if you find it on your country’s version, please let us know in the comments below.
Fans in the U.S. will also find it’s streaming on Hulu, though it will only be there until this Sunday, October 22, 2023.
The Film
“Once Upon A Studio” is a brilliant short film that finds many characters from Disney Animation’s movies over the past 100 years gathering to take a group photo outside the Walt Disney Studios building.
There were a lot of famous characters, along with some older, not as well known ones, mingling to create a virtual snapshot of 100 years of animation.
And I don’t know a Disney fan who wasn’t moved when Mickey takes a moment to talk to photo of Walt himself.
