The Walt Disney Company has set an exact opening date for when the highly anticipated, world’s first and largest “Frozen” themed land, “World of Frozen,” will open its gates at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.

Arendelle will become a reality for visitors to Hong Kong Disneyland on November 20, 2023.
Michael Moriarty, managing director of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, said: “World of Frozen is set to make its grand debut at Hong Kong Disneyland on November 20, marking an exciting milestone for the park’s expansion. This beloved franchise will elevate Hong Kong Disneyland’s global presence. We are excited to offer our guests an enchanting and immersive experience, where they can explore the captivating wonders of Arendelle.”
Hong Kong Disneyland asks for guests’ kind understanding and compliance with the following requirements when visiting the park.
Guests must:
- purchase their tickets in advance and make park visit reservations up to 90 days in advance of their visit, via the Hong Kong Disneyland reservation website; and
- Comply with the latest visit arrangements at hongkongdisneyland.com/guest-services/health-and-safety/.
World of Frozen
Inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios’ films, “Frozen” and “Frozen 2,” which are among the biggest animated films of all time, “World of Frozen” will transport guests to the cinematic land of Arendelle.
Guests will delve into this immersive travel destination, with its captivating stories, beloved characters, culture, stunning landscapes, enchanting music, and cutting-edge technology for the first time in forever by celebrating Summer Snow Day.
New fun-filled attractions such as “Frozen Ever After” and “Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs,” are sure to delight guests.
During “Frozen Ever After,” guests are invited to go on a whimsical journey to visit Elsa’s Ice Palace on the special occasion of Summer Snow Day, and meet all their beloved friends from “Frozen.”
Meanwhile, “Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs” is a “Frozen”-themed coaster where guests will embark on a scenic ride designed and built by Wandering Oaken, and powered by his buddies Olaf and Sven.
The new land will also feature a quick-service restaurant, and merchandise outlets.
