Disney is making updates to the dining reservation system that powers Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort, and we have the details.
The Update
If you’ve tried to make dining reservations online for Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World, it can be hit or miss trying to get an exact time.
Disney will be updating how guests book dining reservations whether it’s on the Disneyland and Walt Disney World websites, or the Disneyland and My Disney Experience apps.
Here are some of the changes guests will notice:
- When navigating to a specific restaurant’s page, the guest will now be required to login before searching for times.
- When a guest searches for a restaurant and time, they will soon see ALL reservation slots in a single view vs. a few random time options.
- Available times will also be sorted by meal period so it’s more clear when you’re booking a lunch or dinner reservation timeslot
These updates will roll out in phases starting this week across the websites, as well as iOS and Android platforms for the apps.
