Mears Connect and the Sunshine Flyer, two services offering visitors rides between the Orlando International Airport and Walt Disney World, have announced they are merging into one service that will be called Mears Connect Driven by Sunshine.
The Details
Mears Connect and the Sunshine Flyer today announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which the companies will merge two complementary services into one combined entity.
According to the company, Mears Connect guests will not be impacted and reservations will remain the same. A dedicated hotline is available 24/7 to answer questions and assist guests regarding new reservations at (407) 423-5566.
Sunshine Flyer guests traveling between July 14 and July 31 will receive an email sent to the email contact linked to the original reservation to confirm all travel instructions.
Mears Connect Driven by Sunshine will be the only 24-hour shuttle servicing both A/B and C Terminals for both arrivals and departures, and is fully wheelchair accessible and ADA-compliant for both standard and express services.
To Book
The new Mears Connect Driven by Sunshine service will begin August 1, 2023.
There is currently a summer sale running offering standard service tickets for $15 each way for adults, and $12 for children.
No word on if they will continue to use the cool train-themed Sunshine Flyer coaches, though.
