Disney and The LEGO Group are collaborating to release a new LEGO | Disney Castle set to celebrate 100 years of Disney, and we have all the details.
About the Set
The new LEGO | Disney Castle set is a homage to the iconic castle at the beginning of all Disney movies.
The 4,837-piece features not only the castle building, but also references from 14 classic Disney films over the last 100 years, from its beginnings with Steamboat Willie and Snow White to the more recent “The Princess and the Frog” and “Moana.”
Inside the castle there are various rooms, including a kitchen, dining room, a ballroom, and a bedroom.
Each room has references to Disney films and characters and there is even a secret turret for fans to discover a Disney time capsule with references to the 100-year history.
Outside, the castle is decorated with fireworks.
The set also comes complete with eight minifigures, representing some of the Disney Princess characters and their partners: Snow White and Prince Ferdinand; Cinderella and Prince Charming: Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen; and Rapunzel and Flynn Rider.
How to Purchase
The new LEGO | Disney Castle set will be available globally for LEGO VIPs from July 1, 2023. It will then be available to everyone from July 4, 2023 at the same outlets.
The set can be purchased at LEGO Stores and at LEGO.com/Castle.
The recommended retail price for the set is $399.99 (U.S.)/ €399.99 (Euro) / £344.99 (British pound).
