Pixar’s “Elemental” debuted in theaters last weekend, on June 16, and there are new Happy Meal toys available at McDonald’s to celebrate.
Each Happy Meal box includes one of eight toys based on characters from the movie, and will be available for a limited time at participating restaurants nationwide, while supplies last.
The Toys
The characters available to collect are:
- Ember on a Scooter
- Ember Wetro
- Wade on a Submarine
- Wade Wetro
- Gale
- Bernie
- Clod
- Lutz
Each of the toys comes with a key that allows the vehicle the toy is sitting on to shoot forward. The toys don’t connect to one another like most Happy Meal toy sets.

The McDonald’s Happy Meal website at HappyMeal.com also has some free downloadable “Elemental” activity sheets for the kids, along with a free game to play on a phone or tablet.
The Film
Pixar’s “Elemental” takes place in Element City, a place where the physical embodiments of the four elements – water, land, fire, and air – coexist together.
Directed by Peter Sohn, the film introduces Ember (voiced by Leah Lewis), a tough, quick-witted, and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade (voiced by Mamoudou Athie) challenges her beliefs about the world they live in.
