Disneyland Paris will debut a new stage show this summer called “TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure” and the park has released details on what guests can expect.

About the Show

“TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure” begins with Charlie, a child who is passionate about music, and he dreams of conducting the orchestra for a school end-of-year gala.

But something unexpected happens and Charlie’s precious music sheets are lost on the eve of the concert!

As Charlie falls asleep, Woody and his Toy Story friends wake up and join forces to recover the scores scattered throughout various Pixar stories such as “Coco,” “Monsters Inc.” “Up,” and “Finding Nemo.”

Arnaud Feredj and Matthieu Robin, directors at Disneyland Paris, have crafted the show to be a multi-layered sensory experience of water effects, creative lighting, contemporary choreography, iconic live music, and more.

Visually, there will be full-sized mobile decorations standing over 20 feet tall and nearly 100 feet wide, 4,800 square feet of LED screens stretching from floor to ceiling, and 200 spotlights to seamlessly blend stage moments from scene to scene — creating the most immersive stage ever at Disneyland Paris.

With over 30 Pixar artists and characters on stage, this artistic live show will take visitors on an epic adventure through the worlds of Pixar.

“We are thrilled to unveil ‘TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure,’ an innovative and immersive experience that brings the magic of Pixar’s most iconic films to life,” said Natacha Rafalski, President of Disneyland Paris.

“This new show perfectly exemplifies our commitment to providing world-class entertainment that touches the hearts of our guests in such a unique and powerful way. It also showcases the exceptional talent of our cast and creative teams who have worked tirelessly to deliver this experience to our guests.”

The Music

Each performance will feature eight musicians paying homage to the timeless beauty of Pixar’s most memorable soundtracks, alongside an original score recorded with 54 musicians at the Nashville Studios.

The piano, violin, trumpet, cello, guitar, drums and saxophone are an integral part of the story and accompany the viewer throughout each scene.

Here are artist renderings of the musician costumes:
