As part of its “Halfway to Halloween” celebration this week, Disney Parks has revealed dates for “Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party,” “Halloween on the High Seas” cruises, and more spooky events.
Get ready to mark your calendars, because Halloween is starting soon in the parks and on the ships.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
“Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party” returns for another year to Walt Disney World, starting on August 11, and running select nights through November 1, 2023.
All the favorites are returning this year, including “Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade,” the “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular,” “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular,” trick-or-treating around the park, Disney characters in their Halloween finest, and more.
The event dates are:
August: 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29
September: 1, 4, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29
October: 1, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29, 31
November: 1
Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting April 27, 2023, and tickets will be available to all guests online starting May 2, 2023. Visit DisneyWorld.com for more details.
This separately ticketed event is always a big crowd pleaser and tends to sell-out, so don’t put off getting your tickets.
Disneyland Resort
“Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party” returns to Disney California Adventure Park this fall for another year of thrilling guests.
This family-friendly event includes after-hours park access to treat trails, photo opportunities, entertainment, attractions, spooky fun decor and more.
Disney Parks says dates and other details on the event will be announced this summer, and we’ll bring you all the information as soon as they release it.
Disney Cruise Line
Disney Cruise Line will host “Halloween on the High Seas” on select cruises from mid-September through October 2023.
Aboard these sailings, guests will eat, drink and be scary with their favorite characters dressed in Halloween costumes, celebrate the season at Mickey’s Mouse-querade party, enjoy trick-or-treating at sea and nosh on themed food and beverage items.
And yes, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow will be dressed as the iconic Sanderson Sisters again this year.
Spooky festivities will be found aboard Halloween cruises on the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wish, with sailings from ports in Miami and Port Canaveral, Florida; San Diego, California; and New York, New York.
Hong Kong Disneyland
Halloween celebrations return to Hong Kong Disneyland starting September 15, 2023, where Disney Villains will transform the park as they tempt everyone to unleash their wicked side.
The award-winning musical stage show, “Let’s Get Wicked,” will be back to entertain guests for another spooky season, too.
In the show, Cruella de Vil has decided to leave her wicked pack to dominate the “Wicked Fun Party Zone,” while Maleficent is joined by her Dark Fey fairies to take control of the stage through music. Her dark powers will engulf everything in projections of black thorns. Not to be outdone, Ursula, Dr. Facilier, Gaston, and Mother Gothel will join in.
