This weekend a new trailer was released announcing that tickets for Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 will go on sale Monday, April 3, 2023.
The Film
This Marvel film is the third in the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, and it will be the last with James Gunn as director, and most likely the last with most of the current cast.
Taking place after the events of the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special that aired on Disney+ in 2022, this new film finds the heroes settling into life on Knowhere.
But it isn’t long before their lives are upended by the turbulent past of Rocket (Bradley Cooper), including the introduction of the High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji) and Adam Warlock (Will Poulte).
Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), still reeling from the loss of the original Gamora (Zoe Saldana), must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life…a mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.
The cast also includes Dave Bautista as Drax, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Vin Diesel as Groot, Will Poulter as Adam Warlock, Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha, Sylvester Stallone as Stakar Ogord, Sean Gunn as Kraglin Obfonteri, and Maria Bakalova as Cosmo the Spacedog.
James Gunn also wrote the screenplay. Kevin Feige produces with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Sara Smith, and Simon Hatt serving as executive producers.
The Trailer
Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 hits theaters on May 5, 2023, and this new trailer not only announces the ticket on sale date, but includes some new scenes not seen in previous trailers.
