Disneyland has announced that Space Mountain will once again be transformed into Hyperspace Mountain, and we have the details on what to expect, and how long you have to enjoy it.
Launch into Hyperspace
Hyperspace Mountain will start on May 1, 2023, and remain in operation until July 4, 2023.
Themed to Star Wars, this version of the attraction begins with a briefing from Admiral Ackbar that the Rebel Alliance needs help flying reconnaissance vessels to survey an Imperial Star Destroyer.
After being escorted into hyperspace by an elite X-wing squadron, you arrive only to find the Star Destroyer waiting with a swarm of TIE fighters.
As Rebel forces valiantly battle Imperial vessels, guests are caught up in a barrage of blaster fire. Maneuvers become more intense as guests join the Rebel squadron for one final, courageous assault on the menacing Star Destroyer.
Then it’s time to return to Earth and resume your visit to Disneyland.
Star Wars Day (and Nite)
The return of Hyperspace Mountain coincides with Star Wars Day, which takes place May 4. We’ll have full details as soon as Disneyland releases them.
This year, Disneyland is also hosting a special Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite event on May 4 (and two other dates in May).
Space Mountain will resume operations on July 5, 2023.
