Destination D23 presented by Lug is heading back to Walt Disney World and we have the initial details, along with a ticket on sale date.
The Details
Destination D23 2023 will take place from Friday, September 8 through Sunday, September 10, at Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World Resort.
In addition to highlighting upcoming news about the parks and entertainment releases, this year’s event will also celebrate 100 years of Disney.
Presentation Highlights of Destination D23 will include panels with Disney archivists, historians, Imagineers, Cast Members, and Disney Legends.
Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro will host a fun and entertaining presentation about what makes a Disney experience so magical and memorable for guests and fans around the world. Judging by his SXSW presentation this year, you won’t want to miss this one.
Journey through Disney’s history and learn about Walt and Roy Disney’s Journey to California, and the earliest days of The Walt Disney Company—from the Disney Brothers Studio to the Alice Comedies, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, and how everyone’s favorite mouse became a superstar
Exciting Experiences at Destination D23 will include a special exhibit from the Walt Disney Archives and Walt Disney Imagineering celebrating 100 years of Disney.
And there will be plenty of shopping opportunities including Mickey’s of Glendale, The Walt Disney Company Store, and the Ink & Paint Marketplace.

TICKETS
Tickets are only available to D23 Gold Members, and go on sale on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 10am PT / 1pm ET.
Prices are $549 (+$7 Processing) per Preferred ticket, and $329 (+$7 Processing) per General ticket.
Preferred ticket holders will have access to a seating area in front of the stage, while General ticket holders will be seated behind Preferred, as indicated in this seating chart:
Each Gold Member may purchase 2 tickets (one for themselves and one for a guest). Each ticket must have a unique individual’s name assigned to the ticket, and no duplicate names can be used at time of purchase.
All ticket holders get guaranteed seats at all Destination D23 panels and presentations on Saturday, September 9, and Sunday, September 10, 2023, access to special pop-up shops and other experiences, and commemorative gifts, including a pin, lanyard, credential, and gift bag created exclusively for the event.

There will be a limited amount of reduced rate hotel rooms available for attendees at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Link to book a hotel room will be distributed within the confirmation email for badge purchases.
It’s important to note that all Destination D23 guests without active room reservations at Disney’s Contemporary Resort must park at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and take the Monorail service to the event.
