Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.
Season two of “Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.” will debut on the streamer on March 31, 2023, and continues the story of the teen doctor as she tries to balance work life with her home life in Hawaii.
As the new season starts, Lahela’s (Peyton Elizabeth Lee) first love, Walter (Alex Aiono) returns from the World Surf Tour, but he’s not the same boyfriend she said good-bye to months before.
However she’s not the same girl either. That becomes clear when she meets a bad boy on a dirt bike, Nico (Milo Manheim.)
She’s faced with a decision: fight for what she knows is true, or give new love a chance. It’s all complicated by the pressures of being a teenage doctor.
Luckily, she has her family, coworkers and best friend Steph (Emma Meisel) to support her along the way.
The series also stars Kathleen Rose Perkins (“Big Shot”) as Dr. Clara Hannon, Jason Scott Lee (“Mulan”) as Benny Kamealoha, Matthew Sato (“Grown-ish”) as Kai Kamealoha, Wes Tian as Brian Patrick Kamealoha, Emma Meisel (“American Horror Story” ) as Steph Denisco, Mapuana Makia (“Finding Ohana”) as Noelani, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman (“UnREAL”) as Charles, and Ronny Chieng (“M3GAN”) as Dr. Lee.
Season one of “Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.” is currently available to stream on Disney+.

Doogie Howser, M.D.
“Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.” is based on the popular “Doogie Howser, M.D.” series that ran on ABC from 1989 to 1993 and starred Neil Patrick Harris in the title role.
The original show followed a teenage physician who balances the challenge of practicing medicine with the everyday problems of teenage life. Howser possessed a genius intellect and a photographic memory, earning a perfect SAT score at the age of six and completing high school in 9 weeks. He then graduated from Princeton at age 10, and finished medical school four years later, becoming the youngest licensed doctor in the country at age 14.
The show won numerous awards, including several Prime Time Emmys.
To celebrate the new series’ new season premiere, Disney+ will also have all four seasons of “Doogie Howser, M.D.” available to watch in the U.S. for the first time starting on March 15, 2023.
