Disney posted an announcement that the special Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Menu at the California Grill restaurant at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will be ending on March 31, 2023, and we have details on what is replacing it.
The Details
The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Menu is a special 3-course dinner menu featuring items inspired by the restaurant’s history.
For $89 per adult ($39 per child with a kids menu), guests get to choose from a variety of choices for each of the three courses.
It’s been a popular prix fixe menu with the guests, but March 31 will be the last day to enjoy it.
What’s Next?
It appears that the California Grill will continue to offer a 3-course prix fixe menu to guests.
A note on the restaurant’s page on the Walt Disney World website says, “Beginning April 1, 2023, California Grill will offer a 3-course selection menu featuring contemporary, market-inspired cuisine.”
Disney hasn’t said what delicious creations the California Grill’s culinary team has whipped up for this new prix fixe dinner menu, but last spring, the restaurant said it was making sure to include plant-based options, as well as seasonal flavors in future menus.
When Disney releases the new menu, we’ll be sure to share it. If you want to be one of the first to enjoy the new dishes, I’ve heard reservations will open on January 31.
If you’ve had the chance to enjoy the 50th Anniversary Menu, are there any dishes you hope make it onto the new menu? Let us know in the comments.
