Walt Disney World has announced via its website that character dining will finally be returning to Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom in early 2023.
The Details
While the restaurant has been open to diners, Cinderella’s Royal Table has not had the full character dining experience since it reopened from the pandemic closure in 2020.
Recently guests could see and meet Cinderella prior to entering the restaurant, but she did not roam throughout the dining room. And at that time, she was the only princess greeting guests.
However, on the official Walt Disney World website, it states: “Characters will return on February 28.” This is referring to February 28, 2023.
Since dining reservations can be made 60 days out, that means bookings can be made for the character dining starting December 28, 2022.
However, the site doesn’t say which characters will be available, nor does it indicate if the pricing will increase with the characters return. I’m sure that information will be released closer to the February date, and I’ll let you know if I hear anything.
Character dining recently returned to Magic Kingdom’s Crystal Palace two months ago, along with other locations, so it’s good to see these experiences are slowly returning to Walt Disney World.
