Disney+ will debut the new sequel series “The Santa Clauses” in November and just in time for the weekend, there is a new full-length trailer to enjoy.
The Series
Based on the popular holiday movie franchise, “The Santa Clauses” is a six-episode limited series that finds Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) on the brink of his 65th birthday and realizing that he can’t be Santa forever.
He is ready to step down from his Santa duties and provide his family a new life south of the North Pole. But first he must find a suitable replacement.
Returning for the holiday adventures are Elizabeth Mitchell as Mrs. Clause, and David Krumholtz as Bernard the Elf.
Joining them are Kal Pen, Laura San Giacomo, Elizabeth Allen-Dick, Devin Bright, Austin Kane, Matilda Lawler, Teagan Johnson, Nico Bustos, and Rupali Redd.
“The Santa Clauses” will debut on Disney+ next month on November 16 with two episodes, followed by a weekly release of each remaining episode. The original three movies can also be found on the streamer.
The Trailer
In this first full trailer, Scott is feeling like Christmas isn’t the same and he no longer wants to be Santa. But it’s hard adjusting back into the real world, and it seems his pick for a replacement may be putting Christmas in danger.
We also finally get to see Krumholtz as trusty elf Bernard.
