This is a big week for fans of the upcoming “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” as a new trailer and posters have been released in anticipation of the World Premiere event on October 26.


The New Trailer

The new trailer released by Marvel is a bit spoilerish, as some of the new footage acknowledges that both Wakanda and Talokan share a resource.

The World Premiere

Fans can watch the live red carpet premiere of Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” online this Wednesday, October 26, 2022.

See all the cast and crew from the film as they arrive at the theater and answer questions as they make their way inside.

Partnering with NBA

The NBA and Marvel Studios have also announced a co-promotional campaign for the film that started this weekend.

The campaign, dubbed “NBA Forever”, tipped off with a mashup promotional video that ran across NBA and Marvel Studios’ social and digital platforms.

The video features a lineup of NBA stars, infusing their on-court performances with a sneak peek of the upcoming film.

Also this Wednesday, October 26, a special look at the movie will air on ESPN during the doubleheader game featuring the Nets vs. Bucks and Lakers vs. Nuggets.


The Movie

In “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba) fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death.

As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman), and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda.

Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of Talokan, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena, and Alex Livinalli.

Ryan Coogler returns to direct, and the film is produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore.
