Foodies coming to Walt Disney World will have menu changes to try and favorite restaurants that have reopened, and we have all the details to please your tastebuds.
Restaurant Reopenings
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
Get ready to enjoy a royal feast of Norwegian cuisine when this dining location at EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion reopens on November 4, 2022.
This family-style dining experience includes Traditional KjØttkaker featuring Norwegian meatballs, or the Kylling og Melboller, a Norwegian take on chicken and dumplings. If you’re looking for some more classic American-cuisine, they’ve got that too with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Grilled Salmon, and Macaroni & Cheese.
Storybook Dining featuring the Disney Princesses also returns, so get ready for some great photo-ops while you dine.
Reservations open October 24, 2022. A park reservation and valid admission for the same date are required.
Kona Cafe
Located at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, this restaurant will soon be returning from its recent refurbishment, and will be reopened to guests starting November 1, 2022.
Tonga Toast and Pineapple Macadamia Nut Pancakes are still on the breakfast menu, while lunch and dinner features returning dishes like the Big Kahuna Burger and Seafood Pu Pu Platter, along with a new plant-based offering, Sautéed Red Quinoa.

Menu Updates
Bar Riva
Located at Disney’s Riviera Resort, the menu is expanding with three new main dishes:
- The new Burrata Salad is perfect for those cheese lovers, with heirloom tomatoes, fresh pesto, and focaccia bread.
- The Salmon with Orzo serves up a perfectly seared salmon with Pomodroccio tapenade and lemon orzo.
- The Mushroom Arancini features risotto, mushroom, cheese, and truffle served with a house-made marinara.
Save room for The Molten Chocolate Cake, a new dessert featuring a warm chocolate cake with a molten center is topped with a raspberry sauce and fresh raspberries.
Belle Vue Lounge
Located at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, the menu has three new cocktails to note.
For those 21 and over, the Orange Blossom Manhattan, a holiday favorite, makes a return as a permanent offering, and the Sparkling Hibiscus is new featuring Sorel Hibiscus Liqueur and sparkling grapefruit.
And all ages can enjoy the zero-proof Agave Garden, which features Lyre’s Agave Reserve and passionfruit green tea.
Enchanted Rose
This Beauty and the Beast-inspired lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is expanding its menu with some new light bites.
Dishes include a charcuterie board, artisanal cheese selection, and hummus with tapenade, smoked paprika, and grilled pita bread.
There is also The Smoked Trout and Crab Dip which features salmon roe, chive oil, and sesame seed lavosh; Siberian caviar with an egg yolk spread, crème fraiche, caper berries, and brioche; and the Seasonal Flatbread topped with artichoke, fig, ricotta, roasted garlic, and watercress.
Primo Piatto
Located at Disney’s Riviera Resort, this quick-service eatery is now offering The Riviera Signature Cookie with semi-sweet chocolate chips, ground oats, California walnuts, toasted pistachios, dried cherries, and flake sea salt.
River Roost Lounge
Located at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, there is a new plant-based dish and a signature cocktail on the menu to enjoy while listening to he comedy and musical stylings of Yehaa Bob.
The Spinach and Artichoke Dip is a creamy dip served with Cajun-dusted cornbread crostini. The French 75, for those over 21, is a fizzy delight made up of Argyle Sparkling Brut, Hendricks Gin, fresh lemon juice, and pure cane sugar.
Scat Cat’s Club – Lounge
Located at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter, this guest favorite lounge has added a plant-based dish to the menu.
The Sassy Sassagoula Sliders trio features BBQ jackfruit with slaw and fried pickles, fried green tomatoes with giardiniera and pepper jelly, and lastly a “fish” cake with spicy rémoulade and arugula.
Tusker House Restaurant
Located in the Harambe Marketplace at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the restaurnt will transition from family-style to an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet style dining experience for all reservations starting November 1, 2022.
It is still character dining with Donald and his friends, but now what ever you enjoy, like the Spit-roasted Tandoori Chicken, Green Curry Shrimp, or plant-based options including the Cauliflower Bunny Chow, you can indulge in more.
