Disney has announced they will be livestreaming the September 16 “Eat to the Beat” concert by Los Amigos Invisibles from EPCOT at Walt Disney World.
About the Band
As part of its celebration of Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month, Disney Parks is livestreaming the 8pm show by Los Amigos Invisibles.
The band released its debut album “A Typical and Autoctonal Venezuelan Dance Band” in 1995.
International success soon followed after collaborating with David Byrne, founding member of Talking Heads, who signed Los Amigos Invisibles for his record label, Luaka Bop, the following year.
Los Amigos Invisibles sound is described as a blend of disco, acid jazz and funk mixed with Latin rhythms.
They have so far released 11 albums, and have won Latin GRAMMY-awards for Best Alternative Music Album in 2009 and Best Alternative Song in 2019, among their various accolades.
The band is the first Venezuelan band to perform at EPCOT, and if you want to catch them in person, they will be performng September 16 and 17, 2022, with shows at 5:30pm, 6:45pm, and 8pm.
Guests need both a valid park admission and a park reservation for EPCOT on the same date.
