The Series

The series, executive produced by the films’ producer Jerry Bruckheimer, director Jon Turteltaub, and writers Marianne and Cormac Wibberley, is an expansion of the “National Treasure” movie franchise.

It follows Jess (Lisette Alexis), a young, brilliant and resourceful DREAMer who embarks on the adventure of a lifetime to uncover the truth about her family’s mysterious past and save a lost Pan-American treasure.

Justin Bartha will be reprising his role of Riley Poole from the movies. He is a computer whiz who helped Nicolas Cage’s character Benjamin Franklin Gates in his search for historical items.

So far Nicolas Cage and Diane Kruger have not signed on to reprise their movie roles.

Others cast include Catherine Zeta-Jones who will play Billie, a “badass billionaire,” black-market antiquities expert, and treasure hunter who lives by her own code, and is also after the treasure.
