
It’s a new month, which means a slew of new foodie news to share from Disney Springs at Walt Disney World.
July 2022 brings foodie news of new flavors, special events, and a Chocolate Mjolnir, just to name a few of the yummy bites we have for you.

Gideon’s Bakehouse
Gideon’s Bakehouse is a must-stop for foodies visiting Disney Springs, and there are four new July items to enjoy.
The Orange Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookie is their July Limited Edition Cookie, which will actually be available through August 14, since it’s part of the Disney Springs “Flavors of Florida” promotion.
This flavor is a Vanilla Bean Chocolate Chip Cookie infused with Orange ,and topped with Dark Chocolates, South Florida Pecan Pralines, and a very special Candied Orange Peel.
This month, the Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cookie is being rereleased, for a limited time.
This flavor is the best-selling Limited Cookie they’ve ever released, and features a decadent Vanilla Bean Cookie blended with real Bananas, a mix of Chocolates, Candied Walnuts, and finely crushed Banana Chips.
Limit 2 per person for both cookies.
Also part of the “Flavors of Florida” is the new Orange Mocha Nitro Cold Brew. This dessert coffee features locally roasted beans and real fresh ingredients.
The Stuart Cake is the final limited treat for the month, and is available Saturdays and Sundays only.
It features Dark Orange Chocolate Buttercream smothering three layers of Chocolate Cake covered in Chocolate Chips, Candied Pecans, and Candied Orange.

Salt & Straw Ice Cream
The “Berries Berries Berries” limited collection are July’s flavors of the month at the new Disney Springs store (and at the Downtown Disney District store at Disneyland).
The flavors include:
- Goat Cheese Marionberry Habanero
- Birthday Cakes & Blackberries (a fan favorite!)
- Wild-Foraged Berry Slab Pie
- Boysenberry Oatmilk Sherbet (vegan)
- Besharam’s Yogurt Lassi w/ Raspberries
Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew
Everglazed is adding two new flavors to their permanent menu of donuts:
Black Raspberry Beret – a glazed donut with black raspberry icing, topped with black raspberry jam, goat cheese buttercream frosting, fresh berries, mint, and Frosted Flakes.
Thailicious – like nothing you’ve tried before this is a glazed donut with black sesame icing topped with charred pineapple, spicy chili lime garlic peanut butter topping, sweet chili sauce, Micro cilantro, and sesame seeds.

The Edison
The Edison hosts monthly mixology events and this month’s Mixology Series will offer cocktails and accompanying bites inspired by Knob Creek Whiskey.
Tickets are $65 per person (tax/gratuity additional), per evening, and atendees must be 21 or older.
The events will take place on July 6, 13, and 20, from 6pm to 8pm at The Edison’s Lake Side Patio.

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
Homecomin’s big foodie news is the Rise & Shine Weekend Brunch has added three dishes to the menu, served Saturday and Sunday:
- 𝐏𝐁&𝐉 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐓𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭 – French toast stuffed with peanut butter & jelly, chocolate sauce, glazed berries, and whipped cream. Served with a choice of side item.
- 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐬 & 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐨𝐰𝐥 – Bradley’s grits blended with house-made pimento cheese, braised kale & collards, griddled honey ham, two over easy eggs, spicy hollandaise, chives, paprika, and crispy fried shallots
- 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭 – tangy key lime curd blended with vanilla yogurt, fresh berries, crunchy pecan granola, and house-made blueberry compote. Served with a choice of side item.
Also new to the regular menu is the 𝐒𝐭.𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐢-𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐢, which is grilled and drizzled with a lemon-garlic butter sauce, then served with roasted potatoes, carrots, squash, and snap peas.

The Daily Poutine
July’s limited time poutine is the Cheeseburger Poutine, made with French fries topped with ground beef, cheese sauce, bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, and mustard.
It’s available through July 31.

The Ganachery
Finally, to celebrate the release of Marvel’s “Thor: Love & Thunder” on July 8, The Ganachery is offering a Chocolate Mjolnir through July 31.
This is a ganache piñata in the shape of Thor’s mighty hammer, featuring a glow cube inside, and chocolate rocks on the outside.
