Actor Chris Evans, who is voicing the title character in the upcoming Pixar film, “Lightyear,” visited Disney California Adventure this weekend.
A Disney fan himself, Evans took time to appear with several of his new Pixar friends at the park’s “Pixar Pier.”
Among them? Buzz Lightyear, of course:
And Mickey and Minnie, dressed as Woody and Buzz, got their photo taken with Evans, as well.
About “Lightyear”
Pixar’s “Lightyear” hits theaters this coming Friday, June 17.
In it, Chris Evans voices the real Space Ranger Buzz Lightyear that the “Toy Story” toy was based on.
The film also features the voices of Uzo Aduba as his commander and best friend Alisha Hawthorne, and Peter Sohn as Sox.
Keke Palmer, Taika Waititi and Dale Soules lend their voices to the Junior Zap Patrolâs Izzy Hawthorne, Mo Morrison and Darby Steel, respectively.
James Brolin voices the evil Zurg.
“Beyond Infinity”
To prepare yourself for “Lightyear,” Pixar Animation Studios has put together âBeyond Infinity: Buzz and the Journey to Lightyear.”
Featuring filmmakers, storytellers, artists and members of the âLightyearâ voice cast, the documentary details how Buzzâs original action-figure design was realized, and how that look was translated years later into a human hero.
Here’s the trailer for the documentary airing now on Disney+:
