Word has come that there will be a change in the Garden Rocks Concert Series this weekend at the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, on May 20-21, 2022.
For reasons unknown, 80’s group A Flock of Seagulls will not be performing those two days.
Instead, 70’s artist Tony Orlando will take the stage singing his many classics including “Tie a Yellow Ribbon ’Round the Old Oak Tree” and “Knock Three Times.”
Shows will be at 5:30pm, 6:45pm, and 8pm each night at the America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure Pavilion, and are included with park admission.
The remaining artists scheduled for the Garden Rocks Concert Series are:
- May 17 to 19 – Finesse
- May 20 & 21 – Tony Orlando
- May 22 & 23 – Collin Raye
- May 24 to 26 – Country Airwaves
- May 27 & 28 – Thelma Houston
- May 29 & 30 – Little River Band
- May 31 to June 2 – The Hooligans
- June 3 to 6 – Simple Plan
- June 7 to 9 – Audio Exchange
- June 10 to 13 – Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone
- June 14 to 16 – Latin Ambition
- June 17 to 20 – Plain White T’s
- June 21 to 23 – Element
- June 24 & 25 – War
- June 26 & 27 – Daughtry
- June 28 to 30 – Epic
- July 1 to 4 – M-80’s
Fridays through Mondays are national and international artists, and dining packages are available for those shows.
Tuesdays through Thursdays are bands local to Central Florida, and ready to play a variety of songs for your listening pleasure. I can personally recommend Audio Exchange as a fun band to see (those who remember the Pleasure Island days will recognize two of the members from their days playing at the Rock’n’Roll Beach Club).
Don’t forget: To enter EPCOT, both a theme park reservation and valid theme park admission are required.
