Disney to Host First-Ever ‘Disneyland After Dark: Grad Nite Reunion’ in June 2022

Disneyland After Dark: Grad Nite Reunion

Disneyland has announced the first of it’s late night events for this summer, and “Disneyland After Dark: Grad Nite Reunion” will take place this June.

But this isn’t just any Grad Nite celebration…this is a Disney one, so it’s open to all ages, even if you haven’t graduated anything yet.

“Disneyland After Dark: Grad Nite Reunion” will be offered on June 23, 28, and 30, 2022.

This separately ticketed Disneyland After Dark event gives you after-hours access to Disney California Adventure after the park closes to day guests, with the opportunity to experience special offerings not typically available during the day.

These include:

  • Sightings of beloved Disney characters throughout the evening with a few favorites proudly wearing their cap and gown
  • Marching-along pep-rally style with some favorite Disney friends
  • Dancing through the decades to hits of today and yesterday
  • Retro photo opportunities
  • Unique, cafeteria-inspired food and beverage offerings
  • Admission to Disney California Adventure Park beginning at 5pm — no theme park reservation required.

In addition to these special offerings, you’ll receive a commemorative credential and guide, as well as unlimited downloads of Disney PhotoPass digital photos you take during the party.

Guests are also encouraged to dress to show their school spirit (though keep the Disneyland Resort Attire Guidelines in mind).

Tickets start at $150 per person, and they will go on sale at Disneyland.com/DisneylandAfterDark on April 28 “no earlier than noon PT”.

  1. Hi Michelle,

I am so happy to hear that they are bringing grad nite back! I never got to attend a Disney grad nite for any of my graduations. How great that they are including people of all ages so that everyone has the ability to celebrate their graduation, from wherever and whenever it was. Sounds like it will be a fun experience for all that go to it.

    Thanks so much for sharing!

  2. I honestly think this is such a fantastic idea! It’s great for those celebrating graduations that are not specifically for high school and also gives those who missed out a chance to attend because of covid to celebrate! I happily celebrated my grad nite at DCA many years ago and I plan on going and bringing friends who never got to experience this awesome event!

  3. This whole idea makes me wonder (and furious) what the folks at Disney are doing except money grubbing.

First, the price is outrageous. Seriously, $150-$154 (and only one night is available at the $150 ticket price) to spend a whopping 4 hours in California Adventure from 8pm – 12 pm. Who are they kidding? Oh, right, you can “mix in” with the public beginning at 5 pm. What a deal! And parking will only cost you an additional $30.

Second, there are no details as to what attractions at California Adventure will be open during this time.

Third. There are no details about the so-called “high school cafeteria” menu. Not that I want to eat that sort of food.

Disney – You need a re-do, and fast.
