“The fate of the Multiverse depends on us,” states Wong in the newest trailer for Marvel Studios’ upcoming “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.”
“No pressure then,” Doctor Strange replies to Wong as the trailer shows scenes of previously unseen characters, plus more fighting and hero poses.
Strange also shows a little levity as he jokes with Wanda Maximoff this might get her back on the Avengers lunchbox.
Take a look:
The movie hits theaters in the U.S. May 6, but at the end of the trailer is another important date…the ticket on sale date: April 6, 2022.
From what I’ve been seeing online, that date is pretty uniform across international markets, too.

“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” is apparently clocking in at 2 hours and 6 minutes, and will carry a PG-13 rating.
From Marvel: “In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.”
It stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, and Xochitl Gomez, with Michael Stühlbarg, and Rachel McAdams…and I’m sure some secret cameos and guest stars.

Hi. I have a silly question. Since my cancer adventure I haven’t been able to go see Spiderman. Is it a prereq before watching the next Dr. Strange?
It’s not 100% necessary but it will definitely help understand the events that lead up to what happens in this movie. I recommend seeing “Spider-Man: No Way Home” because of that. If it’s no longer in theaters by you, it should be online to rent or buy.
