Yesterday, Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley posted the news that “Walt Disney Imagineering presents the EPCOT Experience” will be closing for good on March 14, 2022.
The multimedia attraction has been open since 2019, and has offered over two million guests an immersive look at the past, present and future of EPCOT.
But, as Riddley pointed out in his post, many of the attractions shown in the “EPCOT Experience,” like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Harmonious and the upcoming debut of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, are either already open or about to.
So Disney feels it’s time to close “EPCOT Experience,” so the Imagineers can use the Odyssey pavilion location for future unspecified projects.
It would have been nice to have a little more advance notice, but if you’ll be at EPCOT this weekend for the International Flower & Garden Festival, this will be your last chance to see the “Epcot Experience.”
