Heads up Disney foodies! Walt Disney World Resort has announced that Flying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk, The Turf Club Bar and Grill at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and Jiko – The Cooking Place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge will soon be reopening.

Flying Fish will welcome guests back on January 27, 2022, with their signature seafood dishes and more.

The menu will feature guest favorites like the Seafood Pearl Pasta featuring shrimp, lobster, scallops, clams, and mussels, and the Plancha-seared Scallops accompanied with savory grits, sweet corn, and Peppadew emulsion.

For a finisher, I’m told the Cocoa Breach accompanied with delicious vanilla custard is the treat to order.

The Turf Club Bar and Grill - Mussels

The Turf Club Bar and Grill at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will reopen to guests on February 3, 2022.

Returning menu favorites include the New York Cider-braised Mussels appetizer flavored with garlic, chorizo, fennel, Fresno chili, and apple cider topped with a grilled baguette, along with the Grilled Pork Chop, with sweet potato purée, cannellini beans, baby kale, and ‘Nduja vinaigrette, as well as the Braised Lamb Tagliatelle with house-made Tagliatelle pasta, peas, crispy potato straws, whipped goat cheese, and sherry gastrique.

Jiko - Botswanan Seswaa Short Rib

Jiko – The Cooking Place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge will reopen for fans of upscale South African inspired dishes on February 17, 2022.

Favorite dishes to try on the dinner-only menu include the Seafood Tangine, featuring prawns scallops, squid, and Littleneck clams, and the Botswanan Seswaa Short Rib, with Hominy, Sea Peas, Mushrooms and Carrots.

For a sweet treat at the end, try the Kilimanjaro, featuring Single-Origin Ghanaian Dark Chocolate Mousse, Pistachio Financier, Pink Peppercorn Meringue, Cocoa Nib Crunch, and Ras el Hanout Pineapples.
