Walt Disney World has announced it is making changes to the queue experience for “Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure” at EPCOT beginning next week.
When “Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure” first opened at EPCOT on October 1, 2021, it launched with a virtual queue, but Walt Disney World has announced that will soon change.
Starting January 10, 2022, the ride’s queue will switch from virtual to standby. Guests will then also have the opportunity to purchase access to a Lightning Lane queue at this attraction.
Disney World hotel guests who want to experience the ride should plan to arrive at the park, and head to the France pavilion at opening to queue for the ride in the old fashioned way.
For non-resort guests, Walt Disney World’s new 30-minute early entry for hotel guests means that the Remy standby queue most likely will be filled by the time you get into the park.
At this point you can either take your chances waiting, or purchase the Lightning Lane for the attraction.
Walt Disney World says they may bring back the virtual queue, but my guess is it won’t be for this ride. More likely, they’ll use the virtual queue to debut “Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind,” which is scheduled to open this summer.
Will you miss the virtual queue at Remy’s or do you prefer the traditional standby queue? Let me know in comments.
Since I’m not tech savvy ( senior) and dont like to be tied to my phone when on vacation….I didn’t use virtual queue when there in December….so missed seeing Remi
Looking forward to just a stand by line so I can see it finally!
