A few weeks ago, Walt Disney World announced the new Space 220 restaurant at EPCOT would have a mid-September opening, and today they announced an exact date.
Space 220 will open on Monday, September 20, 2021.
The fine dining restaurant will be located adjacent to the Mission: Space attraction, and is being described by Disney as “an immersive experience” that will make you feel as though you are transported from Earth to a space station restaurant.
The announcement was made via the Disney Parks Instagram, but no date was given when they would start accepting reservations. The restaurant is listed on the app and website, but no menu or reservation information is available.
Speaking of menus, we do know that Executive Chef Marc Kusche has created a two-course prix fixe menu for lunch, and a three-course prix fixe menu for dinner.
No word on a price point for the prix fixe menus, or if they’ll offer vegan/vegetarian or other dietary options.
