Walt Disney World Releases First look at 50th Anniversary Merchandise

Walt Disney World kicks off its 50th Anniversary celebration October 1, and they’ve released a first look at the merchandise for the event.

In advance of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration,” a limited collection of items will be available to purchase at the parks starting Friday, August 12, 2021. The white and blue long-sleeve shirt in the last photo is exclusively for passholders.

Then, along with the start of the celebration, Walt Disney World will release three new event collections at the beginning of October:

THE DISNEY CASTLE COLLECTION

As the name implies, the iconic Cinderella Castle will inspire the designs found in this collection. It will include clothing, collectible ornaments, a castle-themed mug, and an ear headband that will light up.

THE VAULT COLLECTION

This collection offers retro-themed designs inspired by items from the Walt Disney Archives. Items in this collection include a 2021 rendition of the original Mickey Mouse ear hat, throwback T-shirt styles and vintage-inspired plush toys.

THE CELEBRATION COLLECTION

The Celebration Collection will offer a wide-ranging assortment of commemorative merchandise for the whole family, from Dooney and Bourke accessories to clothing to a really cute Celebration Soap dispenser that pumps out Mickey-shaped suds.

This collection is so big I’m going to have to do a separate post to show you all the photos we have. Be patient…it’ll be worth the wait. Here’s a sneak peak to hold you over:
