With March 20, the first day of spring, nearly upon us, Disney Parks and Resorts has released a new video featuring some of the characters created expressly to be a part of Disney’s international parks and resorts.
Duffy the Disney Bear and his friends discover a Spring Surprise in this cute new stop-motion animated video from Disney Parks.
It’s also the International Day of Happiness tomorrow, hopefully this video gave you a little bit of a head start on feeling happy.
I don’t know about you, but there were definitely some Winnie-the-Pooh vibes there with the balloons and ‘OluMel stuck in a hole.
Joining Duffy in the video are his friends:
- ShellieMay (Released in 2011 at Tokyo DisneySea), a female teddy bear who is Duffy’s sweetheart made for Mickey Mouse by Minnie Mouse.
- Gelatoni (Released in 2014 at Tokyo DisneySea), a cat who loves painting based at Tokyo DisneySea’s Mediterranean Harbor.
- StellaLou (Debuted in 2017 at Tokyo DisneySea), a lavender and pink ballet bunny with an aqua bow and tutu.
- CookieAnn (First seen in 2018 at Hong Kong Disneyland), a dog that typically cooks waffles.
- ‘OluMel (A 2018 arrival at Aulani, Disney’s Hawaii resort), a ukulele playing turtle.
Both Duffy and ShellieMay are known for the Mickey Mouse shaped patterns on their face and paws.
We recently noticed that fans can pick up some Aulani ‘OluMel and other Duffy related merchandise at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort or online at ShopDisney.com. We’re big fans of any character with a ukulele.
