Has the Season Finale of Marvel Studios’ WandaVision left you looking for the next big new Marvel show to stream on Disney+? Sit tight. You only have to wait a few more days until we get new questions and answers from “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.”
How did Sam become Falcon? When was Bucky’s mind healed? What drove Sharon underground? Answers to these questions and more await in what looks like a more conventional superhero TV series.
There are only six episodes of “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” with new episodes releasing every Friday. Unlike WandaVision, Falcon is expected to have a more traditional running time of 40-50 minutes each episode.
Falcon picks up after the events of Avengers: Endgame. If you recall, the movie ended with Steve Rodgers, in old age after having traveled back to live with Peggy Carter, handing the Captain American shield to Sam Wilson, aka the Falcon.
The show will deal with the relationship between Sam and Bucky Barnes, aka The Winter Soldier, as they learn to live without Rodgers. The pair is also on the hunt for an anarchist group called the Flag-Smashers.
Various other members of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are expected to appear, including Don Cheadle, who will show up as War Machine.
New Character Posters
As part of the promotional, Marvel has released a set of four character posters featuring Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson aka The Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier, Daniel Brühl as the chief villain Zemo, and Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter.
