Walt Disney World is in the middle of upgrading its entrance signs to reflect the new color palette of its 50th Anniversary. You’ll see more gold, pinks, and blues added to the resort gateways and across the resort.
That transformation is now complete on the Osceola Parkway entrance to the resort and it’s a lovely change.
The blues and golds are much more prominent. The castle has been removed from the top of the sign and the tagline was changed from “Where Dreams Come True” to “The Most Magical Place on Earth.”
We love how Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse really pop right off the blue background.
Hint: If you’re heading to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you should already be in the right lane by this point. The new intersections are nice, but the entrance for DHS arrives very soon after the sign.
If you recall, this is what the gateway looked like before the change.
The Magic Kingdom Auto Plaza also received a color upgrade in recent months. It too reflects the new look of shimmering golds, pinks, and blues that we’ll be seeing more of for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration.
We’ll be keeping our eyes open as the other gateways finish their transformations and for other little details that Disney will be adding to the resort for its 50th Anniversary.
If you missed the initial announcement of what to expect for the four park icons, be sure to check out our report from last week.
