Walt Disney World announced that it would start a phased reopening on May 20, 2020, with a handful of third party participants opening in the shopping and dining district. Since then, we’ve seen a handful of restaurants confirming that they’ll reopen on the 20th.
You can now add Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC to that list. The bakery is a small location that focuses on vegan and allergy friendly desserts and other baked goods. It’s one of our favorite spots to stop for a treat.
Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC has been available for delivery for a few weeks in a limited area, so I was expecting to hear this news.
The store will be open from 10am to 10pm and, due to the small square footage in the customer space, will only allow one party in at a time. Other health and safety measures will be in enforced, including masks for cast members and guests.
The location expects to have a full menu and is encouraging its customers to place a phone order up to 24 horus in advance. Contactless payment is prefered.
We’re maintaining a list of restaurants we know are opening at Disney Springs, and those we know will be closed, on our original post.
If you plan to visit Disney Springs after it reopens, let us know in the comments.
