The Dapper Dans are known for welcoming guests with their close harmony and dapper outfits. A throwback to an earlier era. We love hearing their barbershop quartet classics, but our favorites are the a capella arrangements of Disney classics.
At a time when it looks like our next visit to one of Disney’s magical theme parks might have to wait even a few months longer until the current health emergency is better able to be tracked and contained in public, it’s important to keep in mind these words from the Walt Disney’s great songwriting duo – The Sherman Brothers, “There’s A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow.”
If you’re not already humming the tune from Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress in your head, Disney’s world famous barbershop quartet, the Dapper Dans is here to refresh your memory.
Recording from their homes, instead of the Main Street U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, a quartet of quartets have recorded a brand new physical distancing appropriate video of “There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow” in beautiful harmony and sweet dulcet tones.
While we continue to be sad that Walt Disney World Resort is temporarily closed, we have to thank the Dapper Dans for bringing a little bit of the magic into our lives no matter where we are.
The Disneyland Dapper Dans have their own ‘home’ video recorded earlier singing the lovely Disney ballad “When You Wish Upon A Star.”
I love the Voices from Home video series. A big thanks to all the Disney cast members who continue to make the magic even in these unprecedented times.
“There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow … and tomorrow’s just a dream away.” If you’re dreaming of a return to your favorite Disney theme park, let us know which attraction you plan to ride first in the comments!
That was beautiful! Hope you will do some more for us.
Thanks so much for brightening our day!
That was awesome! Please sing more for all of us suffering from being away from our beloved Disney Parks.
