“Be Our Chef,” a Disney inspired cooking competition unscripted series is now available to stream on Disney+. The series invites five food loving families from all walks of life to creat themed dishes inspired by the magic of Disney.

WIth help from Walt Disney World’s top chefs, the families will compete for a once in a life-time opportunity to present their very own dish to be served in Disney’s world famous theme parks.

Watch a clip from episode 1 of “Be Our Chef” here:

Each episode, hosted by “The Office” star Angela Kinsey, brings two of the five families together to compete in a themed cook-off challenge, using family traditions and learned skills, all while representing their family through the Disney lens.

The two families with the most wins make it to the spectacular finale, where they compete for the grand prize. The winner’s magical food creation will then become a signature dish or treat served at Walt Disney World.

There are 11 episodes in season 1. Five Walt Disney World chefs were involved in filming episodes. We spoke with one a few months ago off the record and he was very happy to get a chance to help families and showcase a bit of the magical dining you can experience at Walt Disney World.

“Be Our Chef” host Angela currently co-hosts a baking channel with her husband and baker, Joshua Snyder. You can find them at www.bakingwithjoshandange.com.
