Stuck at home or have children stuck at home due to Coronavirus social distancing guideline restrictions? Walt Disney Imagineering and Khan Academy have something fun and creative for you to try – “Imagineering in a Box.“
The online learning course teaches you creative solutions to every day problems by giving you a peek behind-the-scenes of Imagineering’s development process. It’s perfect for home learning and easy to take at your own pace.
We first reported on the Imagineering in a Box program from Disney and Khan Academy last August. It has 32 videos featuring actual Imagineers who share real-world cast studies and provide interactive activities to help you learn about theme park design.
Watch the introductory video here to get an idea for what you’ll find in the course:
The best part is Imagineering in a Box is completely free.
Who knows, maybe out of this period of home sequestering a new generation of Walt Disney Imagineers will emerge and make more magical fun for everyone.
To find others already taking the course use or search on the hashtags #BetterTogether and #ImagineeringInABox. If you’re taking the course, tag @WaltDisneyImagineering on Instagram with some of your assignments for a chance to be featured.
