The Art of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker release delayed

The Art of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is the official behind-the-scenes tabletop book full of concept art, production, and post-production art from the last movie in the Star Wars Skywalker saga.

The book is currently the top book on Amazon in the Art of Film & Video category and was originally planned for a release on December 20, 2019, the same day the movie would hit theaters. Alas, yesterday the book’s author Phil Szostak let fans know on twitter know of an unplanned delay.

“Just wanted to let everyone know that yes, The Art of Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker will now release in spring of 2020, March 31 to be precise. Apologies for any inconveniences this may cause but I’m excited to share the amazing design work behind this equally amazing film!”

  1. I’m sorry but I think they are being very unfair. A lot of people will have ordered this as a Christmas gift. I wonder if they are concerned that after reading this no one will want to see the film? If so, that’s the fault of the film makers, not the fans.
They should have decided it earlier instead of the week before Christmas.
