While the new interactive NBA Experience at Disney Springs won’t open until August 12, the attached NBA Store at the attraction’s exit is now open. There’s a variety of NBA & WNBA team merchandise, fan tees and jerseys, NBA Experience logo merchandise, and a few of your favorite Disney characters put in an appearance too.
The character designs for the NBA Experience feature new basketball action poses. you can find them on customized merchandise, t-shirts, socks, and a nifty mug.
There’s a D-Tech on Demand station that allows you to customize MagicBands, water bottles, smartphone cases, magnets and ornaments.
We also liked the NBA Experience merchandise, especially the basketball Mickey Mouse ears and New Era caps.
If you have a few extra dollars to spend, the NBA Store even carries a few autographed collectibles from stars of the NBA past and present.
While I was expecting a bit more interactivity in the store, I guess you get enough of that inside the NBA Experience itself. There were plenty of cast members inside keeping the store clean and organized.
The NBA Store is found on the West Side of Disney Springs inside an entirely new building where DisneyQuest used to be located, right across from the House of Blues. Park in the surface lot behind Cirque du Soliel or Orange Garage for nearest access.
