Oga’s Cantina in Black Spire Outpost on the Outer Rim planet of Batuu is somewhere you might go to sample a Galaxy’s Edge of libations or find a starship pilot willing to smuggle you off-planet. Although the location is small, the vibe is definitely Star Wars.
Since opening day of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland, a visit to Oga’s Cantina has been one of the most in-demand experiences in the new land. This has led to some long waits and crowded conditions in the cantina. We stopped by for a tour during the media previews and recorded this video.
Be on the look out for a familiar Star Tours pilot droid, R-3X, who has found a new job as a DJ in Oga’s Cantina:
Disney recently updated the procedures for getting in to Oga’s Cantinaa. When your Galaxy’s Edge reservation time opens up, there will be a cast member who walks you over to the cantina. Don’t rush ahead or you’ll have to go to the back of the line There you give your name and phone number and enter a virtual queue. This allows you to explore the land. When you get a page, you’ll have 20 minutes to return and check in for a spot in this popular Disney dining location.
Some of the exotic beverages include the spicy Bloody Rancor, the foamy Fuzzy Tauntaun, or the fruity Carbon Freeze.
If you’re one of the lucky few who have been inside. Tell us what you ordered and your thoughts on space!
