The Edison is a multi-level industrial steampunk gothic-inspired themed restaurant and bar in the middle of Disney Springs. It brings world-class entertainment and food with its menu focused primarily on contemporary American fare. However, this summer every other Wednesday night the club will transport guests to Havana where they can dance the night away to live Latin music and sample craft cocktails for a sizzling night of fun.
Craft cocktail specials will help set an atmosphere that taps into the rich musical heritage of Cuba and transports guests to steamy “Havana Nights.”
There are four signature cocktails during the event
- Tempo Perdido — Casamigos Mezcal, Crème de Violette, Lillet Blanc, and lime juice
- Darkest Dance — Flor de Caña 7 Year Old Grand Reserva Rum, Ginger Beer, orange juice, and cucumber
- Lightest Limbo — Flor de Caña Extra Seco 4 Rum, Crème de Cacao, Strawberry Lemongrass Cordial, pineapple juice, and lemon juice
- Two Nights in Havana — Volcan Blanco, Cinnamon Cordial, and grapefruit juice topped with Chandon Brut
Each signature craft cocktail is priced at $15. Have champagne taste but a beer budget? The Beer specials start at $5 for Cerveza Pacifico Clara, Corona Premier, and Corona Light.
The best part of Havana Nights is that there is no cover charge. Enjoy live music from a five piece band from 8pm to 12am and a DJ from 9pm to 1am. Want a little help getting into the latin dance spirit? Salsa lessons for both novices and pros will be available from 7:30PM – 11:30PM to practice signature moves and learn more about the passionate emotions expressed in every step of this dynamic dance.
Event dates include May 15, May 29, June 12, June 26, July 10, July 24, August 7, August 21, September 4, September 18, October 2, and October 16.
“Havana Nights are our most recent addition to the lineup of live entertainment offered at The Edison that combines Latin music, salsa dancing, and specialty craft cocktails to provide the ultimate guest experience,” said Kyle Collins, Marketing Director of Patina Restaurant Group, in a statement.
Looks like you know what to do on Wednesday nights this year.
