Two Hilton branded Bonnet Creek hotels join list of official Walt Disney World hotels

Two big luxury hotels adjacent to Walt Disney World have joined the Disney Destinations hotel partnership program that will give their guests with valid theme park admission access to special perks. Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and Waldorf Astoria are now part of the Official Walt Disney World Hotels network for the first time joining a list of more than 25 other resort hotels.

Together, the two hotels add just over 1,500 new rooms to the official Walt Disney World hotel inventory.

Located on a plot of land, that Walt Disney World was never able to acquire, surrounded on three sides by Disney property, these two resorts were once considered “Good Neighbor Hotels” but are now able to offer Extra Magic Hours benefits.

Extra Magic Hours

Every day one of Disney’s four theme parks offers either early or late extra magic hours for guests. It’s a great opportunity to get on your favorite attractions with little or no wait.

You won’t have a Magic Band as a guest of either hotel, so don’t forget to pick up an official voucher as your pass into the parks when you check in to the hotel. If you want a Magic Band you can buy one online or at the parks, but it won’t work at the hotel.

Check the My Disney Experience app or Disney World website for the schedule of Extra Magic Hours

Fastpass Reservations

Guests of some Disney partner hotels are allowed to book their fastpasses for their entire stay (up to 10 days ahead) when the 60-day window opens. Right now guests of these hotels are still limited to a 30-day window

Although the 60-day window is not available right now, we understand it will be offered in the future. If it does it provides a tremendous advantage over everyone who can’t book until 30-days before their visit.

The hotels will continue to be serviced by their own bus lines to the parks and Disney Springs. Guests are also not eligible for Disney’s Magical Express, however the Minnie-Van service is available. You also can’t participate in the Disney Dining Plans (although you can buy the Disney Prepaid Dining Card to save a little money).

We have a friend who is a frequent guest of the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. She raves about the service, the rooms, and the food. Bull and Bear restaurant is one of her favorites. We may have to swing by to check it out soon.
