Epcot Flower and Garden Festival opens this week: Merchandise Preview

The Orange Bird sipper is sure to be a big hit!

If you can believe it, this week kicks off the 26th edition of the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. This year you can enjoy 90 full days of fresh blooming fun all across Epcot as you get ready to celebrate the arrival of Spring.

The Disney Blog was invited to a preview of the upcoming event where we met some of the team behind Flower and Garden Festival, previewed the merchandise, the food, and some of the topiary that will be adorning the park in 2019:

Some of the highlights this year include:

Demonstrations and educational seminars

Whether you’re looking to learn new garden skills or just starting out you will find an educational session to enjoy. Disney brings in industry professionals, their own cast member experts, and TV personalities to offer instruction and tips on how to make your own projects and gardens at home. You may have to register or pay an additional charge.

Walking Tours

A festival exclusive “Gardens of the World” tour will give you a new perspective on what it takes to make the lush landscapes and signature displays you see in the park.

If tea is on your mind, enjoy the Royal Tea Garden Tour, where you learn about tea in an English Tea Garden then sample tea and scones.
