More details on Coronado Springs new tower, including its name and name of two restaurants

The name of the new tower rising over Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World has been revealed. Gran Destino Tower will become the new focus of the resort and reflects the adventurous spirit of the Spanish explorers and historical innovative Spanish artists, writers, and architects.

In addition to the name for the tower a look at new concept art for the standard resort room, we have learned the names of two of the new Disney dining options coming to Coronado Springs.

One restaurant, Three Bridges Bar & Grill, sits in the middle of the resort’s 14-acre lake – Lake Dorado. You access it via new walkways that stretch across the lake connecting rooms on the fare side of the resort with the tower and new focal point.

The second restaurant rests on top of that tower. Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood, is a rooftop restaurant that will feature table service, a lounge with indoor and outdoor seating, and an amazing view.

Once completed, the new tower will add 545 guest rooms (50 of which are suites) to the Disney Coronado Springs inventory.

If you’d like to be among the first to stay at the resort, the good news is reservations are now being accepted for dates starting in July 2019.
