Disney Springs gets decked out for the holidays!

Disney Springs Christmas Tree

Disney Springs is all decked out for the holidays, and from Santa in person to Santa in chocolate, you’ll find plenty to bring the joy of the season to your heart! The Disney Blog was invited to a special media preview event where we were given a gift card and asked to go explore and enjoy all that Disney Springs has to offer for the holidays.

The centerpiece of holiday spirit is the Christmas Tree Trail, which features 27 decorated trees with themes ranging from Disney Princesses to classic Disney films, and even tributes to Walt Disney World park attractions.

The highlight for me was the Haunted Mansion tree, complete with a large bride and her glowing heart.

Inside the Christmas Tree Trail, you’ll also find Santa’s Chalet, where you can meet and have your photo taken with Santa himself.

The entrance to the Christmas Tree Trail is in the Marketplace, near Once Upon a Toy.

Speaking of the Marketplace, you’re sure to find gifts for every person on your list at the newly revamped World of Disney. I found plenty of great gifts for $25 or less, including a fun Stitch shirt that’s going on my list.

Of course there’s great shopping throughout Disney Springs, so you may want to get an early start. If that’s the case, D-Luxe Burger is offering a new breakfast menu featuring Classic Breakfast Burgers, a Chicken Biscuit and more, available through January 1, 2019.

You’ll also find a variety of delicious Holiday treats available throughout Disney Springs that you won’t want to miss.

Amorette’s Patisserie is offering Instagram-worth creations like “Winter Wonderland” and “Spice Plum” petite cakes, macaron lollipops, and a Frozen Peppermint Hot Chocolate.

Chocolate lovers should visit The Ganachery, which is serving up Candy Cane and Eggnog Ganache, Stollen Bread, Milk Chocolate Marshmallows, and a new Santa Mickey Mouse Piñata.

Available in both the Christmas Tree Trail, and nearby Goofy’s Kitchen, you can also enjoy an assortment of Cotton Candy in ‘all-natural’ holiday flavors like Candy Cane, Eggnog and Gingerbread Man.

Plus, starting December 1, show up at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ in your best Holiday ugly sweater, buy an entree or appetizer, and they will give you a FREE single slice of Smith’s famed Hummingbird cake topped with red & green sprinkles. I highly recommend the famous Fried Chicken biscuits or sandwich.

As if that isn’t enough to do and eat, Disney Springs also has a fun Stitch’s Holiday Gift Hunt for the whole family to do, through January 6, 2019. First, pick up your alien hunting map at one of the following locations:

  • Amorette’s Patisserie
  • Basin
  • Christmas Tree Trail (Mickey & Minnie tree)
  • The Ganachery
  • MAC Cosmetics
  • Marketplace Co-Op
  • Once Upon a Toy
  • Rainforest Cafe at Disney Springs Marketplace
  • Sperry
  • Star Wars Galactic Outpost
  • UNIQLO
  • Wolfgang Puck Express at Disney Springs Marketplace

Your job is to visit each gift hunt site, spot the hidden Stitch holding up one of his presents and then match the correct gift sticker to its corresponding location on the map.

Once you’ve successfully filled out your booklet, head to a redemption center to collect your festive surprise. These centers are:

  • Amorette’s Patisserie
  • Christmas Tree Trail (Mickey & Minnie tree)
  • Marketplace Co-Op
  • Once Upon a Toy
  • Star Wars Galactic Outpost
  • The Ganachery

With all there is to see, do, eat, and shop, you’ll definitely want to spend a whole day at Disney Springs this holiday season. I wish you and your family a very happy Holidays!
