Disney Fine Artist Greg McCullough is known for his bright, colorful paintings with hidden gems that bring joy to the hearts of Disney fans around the world. A new gallery of his artwork just opened at Disney Springs and we stopped by for a quick visit.
You may have seen McCullough at work when he was an artist in residence at EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts earlier this year. Where he created the official festival poster. It contains 13 country icons from around World Showcase and 35 hidden Mickeys! It’s now available at the Disney Springs gallery too.
Greg has worked for Disney Parks in different capacities since 2009 when he created the official Disney Parks ‘dated’ logo and official posters for Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
We were happy to meet Greg on our visit and enjoyed his sense of humor. We’re told he’s there six days a week (Mondays are his day off) from 1pm to 7:30p to meet guests and sign artwork. If inspiration strikes, he might even do a bit of painting.
While original McCullough paintings are selling in the $40,000 to $45,000 range, the great part about this gallery is that prints, lithographs, and posters are available at a variety of more affordable price points for most of his work.
