The Fireworks Dessert Party at the Magic Kingdom is a very popular option for families who want to feel less rushed at the end of the night but still take in Disney’s famous nighttime spectacular. The park will now offer a third option for viewing fireworks. Taking inspiration from the dessert party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests at the Magic Kingdom can now view the fireworks from a designated viewing area in the Plaza Garden near the hub and then partake in a buffet of desserts afterward over at Tomorrowland Terrace.
Like the regular Fireworks Dessert Party, the fun includes a delicious buffet of all-you-care-to-eat desserts and refreshments. Pricing is $69 for adults and $41 for children. You can make a reservation via Disney’s 407-WDW-DINE hotline now. Online ressies will open soon.
On the menu are some of the park’s sweetest treats including the S’mores Action Station (Frontierland), Pineapple Delights (Adventureland), Ooey Gooey Toffee Cakes (Liberty Square), Macarons (Fantasyland), a Cookie Table (Tomorrowland), and Strawberry Tarts (Main Street U.S.A.). There are a couple of savory snack options for those who don’t like sweets and even a small selection of healthy options like fresh fruit.
The new ‘After Fireworks Dessert Party’ option stars May 28. If you still like the old dessert party that happens simultaneous with the fireworks, you can still book that. In fact there are three options now – indulging in desserts before, during, or after the fireworks show with viewing either at the Plaza Gardens location or in Tomorrowland Terrace. What is your preference?
